My name is Kay Thibodeaux and I am head chocolatier and president of The Touring Chocolatier. With over a decade of experience in the chocolate industry, I am constantly honing my confectionary-making skills. I obtained my degree from Ecole Chocolat, and have worked with influential and award-winning chocolate industry personnel such as Ed Seguine, member of the Heirloom Cacao Preservation Initiative and the scientist who helped map the cocoa genome; Food Network personality Chef Jin Caldwell; Johnson & Wales in Denver, CO; the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) in New York City; the New Orleans School of Cooking; and Chef Kevin Wenzel of Wiseman House Chocolates in Hico, TX.
I am proud to be a member of the Fine Chocolate Industry Association and the Retail Confectioners International organization.
Offering gourmet chocolate to clients over the years has been a great ride. Our journey now continues – with YOU!
