At The Touring Chocolatier, we take pride in the quality of our products. In order to assure that your chocolates reach their destination safely, we have created the following shipping policy. Don’t forget – this is Texas! Please keep in mind your shipping destination and its distance from Flower Mound, Texas when you are selecting shipping methods and considering deadlines for receiving orders/gifts. Not all methods are available to all destinations. The Touring Chocolatier has reserved the right to limit shipping methods depending on the temperature, time in transit, and general weather conditions of a location.
In Store Pickup
Our website offers in-store pick up at our 2 retail locations in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.

Fulfillment of pick up orders can take up to 48 hours, depending on the time of year and time of day the order was placed. After your order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation to the email address and/or via text to cell number provided during checkout. You will receive a second email and/or text from The Touring Chocolatier once your order is ready for pick up.
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we can not offer refunds or replacement items for in store pick up orders that are not picked up within the pick up time frame.
Holiday Season Order Processing
Once your order is placed, please allow 1-3 business days for processing and fulfillment during the busy season. Once your order is shipped you will receive a tracking number. Please keep in mind this is the heaviest shipping season of the year and we are not in control of carrier shipping delays. We are very grateful for your patronage and fulfill orders as fast as we can in order for shipments to leave as close to the expected ship date as possible.
Order Processing
We strongly recommend you review your order before it is submitted as we can not modify or make changes to an order after it is submitted. After your order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation via email and/or text to cell phone number or email address provided during checkout. Once your order has been processed, you will receive a second email and/or text from The Touring Chocolatier with tracking information stating that a shipping label has been created.

General Shipping
During the months when it is cool enough to ship from Texas, we only ship on Mondays and Tuesdays so packages will arrive at the destination before getting left on a truck for the weekend. Same day shipping is not offered.
Our website currently ships to U.S addresses only and does not ship to P.O boxes. Please ensure all shipping address information is correct and that you have provided a street address, company name, suite or apartment number when applicable to ensure proper delivery.
Failed Deliveries or Receiving Product
The Touring Chocolatier is NOT Responsible when:
- Customer provided an incorrect/outdated address
- Recipient is not available to receive the package
- Customer does not provide a corrected/new delivery address within 24 hours of first delivery attempt
- Shipments that are returned or require rerouting due to an incorrect address will be subject to additional charges for reshipment and/or relabeling for the carrier. We highly recommend shipping orders to an address where the recipient will be available to receive them.
Holiday Closures and Shipping
The Touring Chocolatier does not ship out the following days:
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day- July 4th
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas week- December 25th-December 29th
- New Year’s Day- January 1st
- We do not ship Wednesday through Sunday
Returns
The Touring Chocolatier is committed to customer satisfaction. If there is any issue or discrepancy upon receipt of your order, please contact The Touring Chocolatier via email for a replacement or refund with pictures of shipping boxes and of the product that capture the damage. These requests must be received within 3 days of delivery of the order.
After 3 days of receipt, The Touring Chocolatier considers the shipment to be delivered and accepted with no issues. To report issues or send photos of damaged products, please call us at 945-346-2998. Due to the perishable nature of our products, all claims submitted without proper support will not be eligible for a reshipment or refund. The Touring Chocolatier reserves the right to limit replacements or refunds.
