The Touring Chocolatier is an artisanal chocolate and gift shoppe specializing in gourmet chocolates, experiences, specialty chocolate “finds” and unique giftables. We set ourselves apart by bringing people together to educate them about chocolate and to enjoy fine chocolate, made right in our own production facility. Having toured various cacao-producing countries and developed relationships with bean-to-bar chocolate makers, The Touring Chocolatier shares our passion and knowledge with our clientele through tastings and hands-on chocolate-making classes.

Please join us for the launch of the Thoughtful Journals, a new project from Amber Royer, author of Story Like a Journalist. These journals each feature instructional material, as well as plenty of space for recording your own thoughts and discoveries. The first two journals are The Thoughtful Tasting Journal: Chocolate and The Thoughtful Travel Journal. Amber will discuss the process of journaling, both when traveling and when tasting chocolate, and the Touring Chocolatier will share chocolate samples and stories of how we source our chocolate.

December 15, 2024JOIN US for a fun time learning about chocolate! You'll learn where/how cacao is grown, how it's turned into chocolate, and experience a chocolate tasting. Then, you'll have the opportunity to roll, dip & decorate a dozen truffles (2-3 flavors) and go home with as many as you don't eat while in class! Due to the prep work involved, no refunds are available. All attendees are REQUIRED to wear long pants and closed-toed shoes.
